Don’t speak German? Never fear, WordCamp Cologne would love to have you!
This page is to inform all non-German speaking attendees of the WordCamp Cologne 2017.
WordCamp Cologne will be held on Saturday, November, 18th and Sunday, November 19th 2017 at HMKW University . We plan this WordCamp as a BarCamp. We expect around 250 visitors, and we’re looking forward to meeting YOU!
The Contributor Day will be held on Friday, November, 17th 2017 at Microsoft.
Language
Getting along around Cologne without speaking German should not be a problem. Most Germans understand and often speak English well enough to keep a conversation going. Cologne, in particular, is a very cosmopolitan city.
Sessions
Our WordCamp will be a BarCamp format, so the sessions will be provided by the attendees and chosen on site on the day of the event. As a consequence, we cannot tell now if there will be presentations in English. We would like to encourage every attendee, also English speakers, to submit their topic of interest.
